Adele’s Las Vegas shows ‘may not happen’ as Caesars ‘unsure they can reach deal’

Adele’s team are reportedly negotiating a deal with Live Nation and Caesars Palace in a bid to save her Las Vegas residency, it has been reported.

Singer Adele, 33, tearfully announced her decision to postpone the dates of her residency show to Eleventh Hour last week in an Instagram video.

Adele, who mourned FaceTime fans who traveled to Sin City for her shows, said staff illness and delivery delays prompted her decision to postpone the shows.

Following the superstar’s announcement, there has been speculation that Adele’s outfit requests could have triggered the delay.

But, now according to TMZ, the singer’s boyfriend Rich Paul is embroiled in denials as Keith Urban was recruited to replace Adele in March and April.

And, the publication reports that sources at Caesars Palace said they were “unsure if they could reach an agreement with Adele” due to a “significant conflict” over “many issues” with these comments.

Meanwhile, the set for Adele’s Weekends With has reportedly been removed from the Colosseum at the Las Vegas hotel.

It has also been claimed that in the month leading up to the residency, Adele would not have been able to complete a full rehearsal.

And, the star reportedly had tears phonetically at Rich Paul as issues with the set continued to mount.

Adele reportedly clashed with designer Esmeralda Devlin over stage production while her team also wanted an overhaul of the sound provided by video systems.

A source told The Sun: “Despite the set costing millions to put together, Adele wasn’t happy with the outcome and she made her feelings very clear to Es.

“She was already nervous and the falling out freaked her out because she was desperate for everything to be perfect.”

Adele was supposed to sing in the middle of a swimming pool during the residency shows, but it’s been claimed she compared the final design to an “old pond” and declined.

A source said: “When she saw the finished design, she refused to participate.”

They added: “Adele described the pool as an ‘old pond’ and refused at close range to stand in the middle.

“The intention was to fill it with water on the tray as it was lifted on a crane-like mechanism, creating the illusion that it was floating on water.”

But, Adele blamed staff who fell ill with Covid-19 in a video as she told her fans: “Hiya listen, I’m so sorry but my show is not ready.

“We tried absolutely everything we could to get it together in time and to get it good enough for you, but we were absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.”
