The future of a former Mecca Bingo site and historic theater has been teased by its new owners.
The Garrick Theater on Lord Street, Southport, former headquarters of the multi-million pound bingo company, was bought last year after being vacated by Mecca Bingo.
The building was originally to be auctioned, but after several bids it was taken off the market and sold. The new owner of the site had remained anonymous until now.

It has been revealed that the future of the building will ensure the ‘preservation’ of the heritage and Grade II listed status.
A full announcement on the plans for the building should be made soon.
New co-owner Niki Anderson said, “We look forward to revealing our full plans for the Garrick Theater building and we are working closely with partners and the theaters trust to bring these plans to life. »
