Under the agreement, WBTL and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (“Geely Holding”) will establish a joint venture dedicated to the intelligent automotive chassis system business, with the aim of increasing the share of its WCBS products in the Chinese market for passenger vehicles.

According to WBTL’s press release, it launched the WCBS as early as 2019 and put the product into volume production in June 2021. The company said its WCBS is to be installed in more than 20 production models this year.
Adopting WBTL’s exclusive One-Box solution, the WCBS integrates components such as vacuum booster, electronic vacuum pump, master cylinder, ESC (electronic stability control) and EPB (electronic parking brake) systems. , with better ability to meet new NEV (new energy vehicle) and intelligent vehicle requirements for braking systems.
