Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been officially demoted on the Royal Family’s website. Photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been pushed to the very bottom of the list alongside Prince Andrew. During their time as senior royals, the couple were placed under photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton on the website.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth, King Charles was named the new monarch of England and changes were also made to the titles of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who have now been promoted to the roles of Prince and Princess of Wales . As for Harry and Meghan, after the couple left their royal duties, their position on the site was lower than Princess Anne.
Although after the accession of King Charles III, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now placed above Prince Andrew. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who recently attended Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in the UK, also faced other changes when attending the ceremonies as they were no longer family members royal. Prince Harry was not allowed to wear his military uniform at several of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral ceremonies because of this.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were forced to sit in the second row rather than up front with the rest of the Royal Family at the late monarch’s funeral. The couple recently spent more than ten days in the UK following Queen Elizabeth’s death and were visibly moved as they bid their final farewells to the Queen.
