Travis Head sells Tennyson’s house

Travis Head bought his Tennyson home for entertainment, but four years later is selling this beachfront wonder.

He fought on the holiest cricket grounds in the world – and now Australian cricketer Travis Head is hoping to win big when he sells his Tennyson home at auction next Saturday.

Head bought the stunning beachfront home in 2018 and he and his fiancée Jessica Davies have loved living there. “I always wanted something I could have fun and relax in, close to the beach,” said the South Australian drummer.

“I had just started playing for Australia at this stage – I had been playing one day cricket and T20 cricket for a few years. As my relationship with Jessica developed, we saw it as a family home, but we ended up moving to Mitcham, so that didn’t happen.

The striking home at 10 Tennyson Heights Court features four bedrooms, an open-plan living room, theater, outdoor entertaining area with an outdoor kitchen and swimming pool.

“It’s great for entertainment…I often hosted the boys,” Head said.

With the couple expecting a baby in September and due to wed next April, Head said now is the time to sell.

“We’re really settled in Mitcham now and we love it there, and it’s just too nice a house to rent, it really deserves to have a family there,” he said.

The house will be auctioned by Ouwens Casserly Real Estate next Saturday, with an indicative price of $1.95 million.
