Nick’s Kid Show and Buddy Holly show will perform at Bob Fredrick’s Open Stage Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Nick’s Kid Show is musical fun and entertainment for children of all ages and is guaranteed to sing and dance along with the audience’s participation. Nick likes to involve children in his act. Maybe it’s joining him in “Locomotion” or on stage playing musical instruments. Nick’s show is very energetic and makes you want to dance and play fun games with music.

Poppa Bear Norton will perform on Bob Fredrick’s Free Stage on Friday and Saturday. This Minnesota-based, high-octane, country western, two-man musical marvel takes all the humor, heartbreak, self-mockery and storytelling that once made country music great, the care, but not carefully, add trucker speed, black coffee, and rocket fuel to the mix. Shake it, light a match and you’re left with the musical, highly entertaining and original “Daredevil Country” sound, a style of country that can only be performed by true “Country Daredevils” and that’s exactly what Poppa Bear “The Singer” and B. “The Slinger” are.

The free Bob Fredrick Stage will also feature many local talent groups performing throughout the week of the fair.
