According to the conference, Notre Dame’s game at Virginia rescheduled from Tuesday, Jan. 25 and scheduled to be rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 22 will not take place and will result in Virginia forfeiting.
Again, no details were provided, but you have to think that’s Virginia’s side. Notre Dame (20-6, 11-4 ACC) is in the midst of a race for an NCAA Tournament general offer; the Irish wouldn’t just take an L.
